Biography

Cornelia Wallner-Frisee started her career in the financial world. Quickly realizing that economics wasn’t her field, she went back to study medicine. This change of direction resulted in a wider shift of perspective. She discovered her passion for encountering different cultures and started a journey to her personal karmic past. She learned new healing techniques and studied the treasures of our ancestors in India, Tibet, the Andes, the Amazon and the savannah of Africa. She wanted to find a way to integrate the healing techniques from all these different sources. She never imagined it would bring her to Africa. For the last 13 years, she has been living in Tanzania with people from the Maasai and Meru tribes.

Lesse Laizer is the Operation Manager for the Maasai Lodge at Africa Amini Alama and the first assistant to Cornelia. His knowledge and connection to the community assist Cornelia in bringing medical and educational support to women and children in need. While Cornelia oversees the running of the NGO, Africa Amini Alama, as well as working as a natural healer, shamanic practitioner, and medical doctor, Lesse contributes his knowledge to forward and deepen her connection to nature, the people, and to tackle every challenge that passes their way.
